Jonathan S. O’Donnell Attorney-at-Law MBV Law LLP
Jon is a trial attorney with more than 22 years of experience in real estate, construction, design, corporate and partnership dissolution, employment, business tort, and environmental litigation. He routinely advises clients on litigation avoidance, advocates creative approaches to dispute resolution, and has a business-oriented approach to problem solving.
Prior to joining MBV Law LLP, Jon was a partner of O’Donnell & Pia, a San Francisco civil litigation law firm, and was associated with Horwich & Warner, also in San Francisco. He has been retained as an expert by other attorneys, has served as a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Construction Industry Panel, and has taught numerous seminars on construction industry contracts.
Jon graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall School of Law) in 1981. He received his B.A. with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1977.

Laura is a graduate of Emory University (B.A., Russian Studies, Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude) and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall School of Law) in 1981, where she was a member of the California Law Review. Laura served on the board of directors for the Architectural Foundation of San Francisco and was a contributor to Architect’s Essentials of Ownership Transition. Prior to joining MBV Law LLP, Laura was a corporate associate with Brobeck, Phleger, & Harrison in San Francisco and was founder of Howard & Howard, a firm that specialized in business counseling and employment law.
